An unformed chip thickness approach to study the influence of process vibration on machining performance in milling

چکیده

The vibration in the milling process plays a key role machining, which can significantly affect machining quality of workpiece. Some vibrations have negative influences on workpiece surface, while other improve stability. Therefore, it is critical to distinguish influence different types quality. A simulation method undeformed chip thickness considering presented this article, finite element model established analyze dynamic 7075-T651 aluminum alloy from aspects cutting force and temperature. series experiments are carried out verify effectiveness model, results show that proposed accurate predicting both Furthermore, effect performance studied with method, relationship between amplitude-frequency characteristics force-temperature fluctuation revealed. determine provide basis for distinguishing favorable unfavorable parameters milling.
